Dr. Carole Brown

Dr Carole Brown came to the Sioux Spiritual Center in 2018.  She knew the center well because her grandparents lived only a few miles away when it was being built in 1978, and she had many opportunities to visit over the years. She grew up in Faith, South Dakota and graduated from Black Hills State University with degrees in Communications and Education in 1993.  She went on to get a Master's Degree in Theology and Christian Ministry at Franciscan University of Steubenville in 1997.  She completed a Higher Diploma in Christian Spirituality through the Milltown Institute in Dublin Ireland in 2006, and was conferred with her PhD in Systematic Theology at the Milltown Institute of Theology and Philosophy, National University of Ireland, in 2010.  With over 30 years of experience in ministry, she is delighted to be tasked with taking care of this special gem in our diocese.
